Orcasound

Orcasound is a cooperative hydrophone network and open-source software that connects headphones to live hydrophones. In practice that means designing and building iOS and Android apps.

It makes the most sense for businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Alongside the main category they mention Hardware. They are a mid-sized team, 51 to 200 people, which usually shapes who they work with.

Orcasound is based in Friday Harbor, Washington. Their site is orcasound.net.

Our checklist for this category: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Orcasound, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
