Civitech

Civitech is a political technology startup devoted to applying technology-based solutions to civic problems. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. Related areas on their profile: CivicTech and Service Industry. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Civitech is based in Austin, Texas. Their site is civitech.io.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

Every review on Revaw shows how it was verified, so if you know Civitech well, your review carries weight here.
