Computer Keyes

Computer Keyes is a software company that develops customized solutions to optimize document management processes for organizations. Put simply, it is about writing and editing documents together with comments and versions.

Who is it for? Mostly teams that produce a lot of documents. They also list Document Management, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Computer Keyes is based in Snohomish, Washington and around since 1978. You can read more at ckeyes.com.

Things worth asking about: offline access, permissions, and export formats. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
