Vertical Technologies

Vertical Technologies is a managed IT services specialist. In practice that means assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

The natural audience is companies without a full security team. Related areas on their profile: Data Center, Security, Small and Medium Businesses and Virtualization. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Vertical Technologies is based in San Antonio, Texas. More on thinkvt.com.

Things worth asking about: response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
