the vdr group inc

VdR Group provides data management solutions for engineering, manufacturing, and owner and operator organizations. That is the short version of the vdr group inc. Put simply, it is about handling IT tickets, assets and changes in an organized way.

The natural audience is IT departments. They also list CAD, Data Integration, Data Management, Developer Platform and Enterprise Applications, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

the vdr group inc is based in Orange, California. More on vdr.com.

Things worth asking about: self-service portal, asset tracking, and automation. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
