Ringcloud

Ringcloud is a platform for digital drilling operations that offers ring instrumentation to automated MWD operations. Put simply, it is about connecting machines, sensors and robots to software that controls or monitors them.

The natural audience is manufacturers and operators. They also list Industrial Automation and Industrial Engineering, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Ringcloud is based in Houston, Texas. More on rigcloud.com.

Before you commit, look at hardware compatibility, uptime, and support. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
