Mozilla Foundation

Mozilla provides internet solutions and offers firefox, thunderbird, and raindrop. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

Who is it for? Mostly companies with a specific process to automate. Alongside the main category they mention Browser Extensions, Open Source and Web Browsers. As a large company team themselves (501 to 1,000 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. At that size expect formal onboarding, documentation and a longer sales cycle.

Mozilla Foundation is based in Mountain View, California and around since 1998. Their site is mozilla.org.

Our checklist for this category: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Mozilla Foundation, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
