Media Cybernetics

Media Cybernetics, Inc. provides image capture, processing, analysis, display, and management software for individuals and organizations. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Media Cybernetics is based in Rockville, Maryland. You can read more at mediacy.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Media Cybernetics, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
