KOMET of America

KOMET of America is an engineering company offering tools and drilling solutions. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Energy, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a mid-sized team, 201 to 500 people, which usually shapes who they work with.

KOMET of America is based in Schaumburg, Illinois and around since 1918. More on komet.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with KOMET of America, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
