Jido Maps

Jido Maps is a software company that offers an API for persistent augmented reality. Put simply, it is about publishing, securing and monitoring APIs.

Who is it for? Mostly platform and developer teams. They also list Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality, Developer APIs, Machine Learning and Telecommunications, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Jido Maps is based in San Francisco, California and founded in 2018. More on jidomaps.com.

Before you commit, look at gateway features, documentation tooling, and rate limiting. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Jido Maps, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
