Embertone

Embertone is a virtual musical instrument developer of innovative and realistic tools for performers, digital musicians, and composers. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

Who is it for? Mostly companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Music and Video Games, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Embertone is based in Raleigh, North Carolina. You can read more at embertone.com.

Our checklist for this category: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with Embertone, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
