EDP Communications

EDP Communications is an IT firm that specializes in computer and IT security solutions. In practice that means assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

Who is it for? Mostly companies without a full security team. They also list Network Security, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

EDP Communications is based in Menlo Park, California. Their site is edp.co.za.

Before you commit, look at response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
