Curio

Curio is an interactive and hackable toy character for iPad devices. In practice that means managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

It makes the most sense for small and mid-sized companies. They also list Hardware, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Curio is based in Starkville, Mississippi. You can read more at curiobots.com.

Our checklist for this category: response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with Curio, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
