Campus Roots

Campus Roots is a social app for college students, offering events, study groups, and student deals. In practice that means designing and building iOS and Android apps.

The natural audience is businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Alongside the main category they mention Mobile Apps and Social. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Campus Roots is based in Lawrence, Kansas. Their site is campusroots.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
