Asteroid

Asteroid creates and hosts AI agents for complicated tasks in browsers. In practice that means doing multi-step work with AI, from drafting to taking actions in your tools.

Who is it for? Mostly teams automating knowledge work. Alongside the main category they mention Generative AI. As a very small product team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Asteroid is based in San Francisco, California. More on asteroid.ai.

Our checklist for this category: accuracy on your data, guardrails, and usage pricing. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with Asteroid, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
