Ames & McBain

Ames & McBain provides consulting, ERP developing and installing, warehousing and shop floor solutions. The job it does: solving a specific business problem with software.

It makes the most sense for teams in its space. They also list Consulting, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Web Development, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small product team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Ames & McBain is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Their site is amesmcbain.com.

Before you commit, look at pricing, support, and how it fits with the tools you already use. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Ames & McBain, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
